Breeding Ground for Mold Growth
Once we arrived and inspected the crawl space, we found a ton of white mold growing throughout the dirt floor crawl space. Soil and dirt from the earth contain moisture and since moisture forms so easily in confined areas, dirt crawl spaces are fertile breeding grounds for mold!
All of it Removed
We carefully and properly removed every single contaminated item out of the crawl space and then treated the entire area with our EPA-registered antimicrobial solution called Mold Abatement Polymer Solution 1. Nicknamed MAPS 1 for short, this application targets mold at its DNA and immediately kills it!
White Mold on the Joists
Once we were done applying MAPS 1, we then applied our mold stain remover and began scrubbing away every single mold stain throughout the area.
For the Grand Finale
Lastly, we treated every single square inch of the crawl space with a patented sealant called MAPS 2. What this application does is encapsulate the surface mold is growing on and renders it inert, harmless, and non-allergenic. It's also moisture sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent any future mold growth!
