No Choice - Tear it Out
Sadly the structural integrity of the ceiling's sheetrock was compromised and full of mold, so we had to do a full tear-out. We needed to remove & dispose of every single piece of contaminated material.
Mold on the Beams
After every single piece of contaminated material was removed and disposed of properly, we treated the bathroom from top-to-bottom with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution called MAPS 1. MAPS 1, which stands for Mold Abatement Polymer Solution, attacks mold on a cellular level and instantly neutralizes it.
Strong Mold Stain Remover
After MAPS 1 we applied our mold stain remover and scrubbed any and all mold stains throughout the bathroom.
Prevents it Return
Finally, we applied MAPS 2 throughout the bathroom. MAPS 2 is a patented sealant that encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless, inert, and non-allergenic. It's also moisture sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent any future mold growth throughout the area.
