Mold on the Ceiling
There was an abundance of black mold growing on the ceiling...
The Rafters Too
...and on several of the rafters. After a thorough inspection, we determined that the conducive condition that caused the mold growth was high humidity levels.
Mold Abatement Polymer Solutions
First, we treated the entire sunroom with our EPA registered antimicrobial called MAPS 1, which stands for Mold Abatement Polymer Solutions. This antimicrobial will attack mold at it's DNA and kill it immediately.
Scrub All the Mold Away
We then used our mold stain remover, scrubbed away all the excess mold staining, and then treated the area with MAPS 2.
MAPS 2 - The Patented Sealant
MAPS 2 is our patented sealant that encapsulates the surface mold is growing on and renders it harmless, inert, and non-allergenic.It's also moisture-sensitive and will reactivate whenever it gets wet to prevent future mold growth. Finally, to control the humidity levels, we installed a commercial-grade dehumidifier.
