Sheryl has been with Cowleys since 2003, and is our Human Resources Manager. As HR Manager, is responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized. Our HR functions have taken on critical importance as Cowleys has grown and our staff of field technicians is continually increasing. Sheryl has a wide variety of responsibilities as HR Manager, including maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies, performing benefits administration, overseeing recruitment efforts, and conducting new employee orientations. Above all else, Sheryl views her position as keeping all of Cowleys employees happy, satisfied, and on track. At Cowleys, we understand that employees who are fairly treated and respected work hard to deliver the Cowleys level of high customer satisfaction and service. We are exceptionally proud of our high employee retention rates in an industry known for high turnover.
Sheryl thrives in a hectic office environment, and is blessed with the ability to stay focused and calmly extinguish the inevitable daily brush fires. She gets along with everyone and has a great sense of humor. One of the top fringe benefits of working at Cowleys alongside Sheryl is that you are guaranteed to enjoy a few good laughs throughout the day. She should probably be displaying her comedic talents at Uncle Vinney’s Comedy Club in Point Pleasant, but we’re glad she’s here!
When away from the office, Sheryl loves going to the beach in the summer, relaxing with friends, and spending time in the Big Apple with her daughter. She loves to travel and explore new places, always on the lookout for new experiences. In short, Sheryl lives life with passion, whether at work or enjoying those precious times with friends and family.
